TRANSPARENT COOKIE STANDARDS

Cookie Policy

Effective Date: October 16, 2026 | Respecting your digital privacy.

1. What are Cookies and How Skuul Uses Them

Cookies are small encrypted text fragments stored on your device to maintain secure login sessions and remember your institutional preferences. Skuul follows a strict Privacy-First philosophy: we do NOT employ third-party advertising cookies, cross-site trackers, or commercial data brokers.

2. Categories of Cookies We Use

A. Strictly Necessary & Essential Cookies (Always Active)

These cookies are mandatory for the application to function securely. Without them, you cannot log in or perform authenticated admin actions:

  • eduerp_session — Encrypted JWT session token for school admin and teacher dashboard auth.
  • csrf_token — Protects your school against Cross-Site Request Forgery attacks.
  • skuul_cookie_consent — Remembers your cookie preference choice.
B. Functional & Preference Cookies

Used to remember user interface preferences, such as selected academic year, school tenant code (so you don't have to re-enter it on every login), and dark/light mode settings.

C. Commercial Advertising & Tracking Cookies (BLOCKED & NEVER USED)

We firmly believe student platforms must remain distraction-free and confidential. We do NOTload Facebook Pixel, Google AdSense, TikTok Pixels, or any third-party behavioral advertising scripts.

3. Managing & Disabling Cookies

You can instruct your web browser (Chrome, Edge, Safari, Firefox) to block or delete cookies via your browser settings. Please note that disabling strictly necessary cookies will prevent you from signing in to the Skuul Admin console.
